What a year! I wonder how many people will start end of year reviews with words that echo these sentiments? My first review draft was so gloomy, that I found myself eating a mini-trifle at 4 in the afternoon.
Katie & Denis, Tyn Dwr Hall Wedding
Tyn Dwr Hall is a beautifully restored house private house in Llangollen, set in woodland and beautiful gardens. We work there quite a lot and it is always a treat. We are delighted to share Katie and Denis' wedding who got married last August, a whole year ago. Happy Anniversary! Lockdown Projects: a mini cutting flower garden
I really thought 2020 was going to be a year where all my detailed plans for weddings would pay off, but my wall planner quickly became a mess of cancelled plans, scribbles and arrows as we worked with resilient couples to rearrange their spring and summer weddings. I expect most of you reading this have had to adapt quickly as the year has thrown several curveballs our way.
Garthmyl Hall Wedding, Melissa & Nathaniel
There are some weddings that stay in your mind… Melissa and Nathaniel’s Garthmyl Hall wedding was one of those. On arrival the family were having breakfast and Melissa’s Dad welcomed us, with coffee, pastries, helping unload the car and an anecdote of how initially he thought Melissa had booked a florist called Ivy Panty Hose and he called me that for the rest of the day.
